The B-52 looks like a fairly typical shortboard but it definitely doesnt ride typical. This design is becoming very popular and has quite a following . The B-52 has subtle design elements that make you surf better than you thought you could. It always surprises people and they are doing bigger and better turns than they have for years. The rocker and bottom contours create a fast and very manouverable board but the planshape gives you a solid and secure platform so there is alot of confidence that comes from that and once you have confidence in a shape, anything becomes possible. This is a shape that everyone can enjoy, its a simple thruster that just works and works well in a wide range of waves. It is the tradesman of my range.
